Sailing, sport fishing, kayak, surf, cruises, paddle, jet ski, swimming, sunbathing: there is no shortage of activities at Capbreton marina.

dsc_0637-port-Capbreton If you like fishing, Capbreton is the ideal place!

The fish are abundant and varied: sole, sea bream, calamari (chipirons), hake, pout, meagre, as well as sea bass, rock salmon, weever, tuna, bonito…

Sea fishing can be done at anchor, drifting or by motor, the technique depends on the type of fish: dragnet fishing for mackerel and bonito, hand line fishing for sea bream and hake, jig fishing for squid, stand-up fishing for tuna and marlin.

Every May we organise the Hake Festival, and in September, the Chipiron Festival where there are various competitions and activities around the port.
